What Mendmate does today, what it costs, and what is not built yet. Where something is not built, it says so rather than implying it.
Repair shop software that runs in a browser: repair tickets that move through ten states, a till, stock, customer records and a customer portal, estimates and VAT invoices, and reports. Built in Bristol for UK shops: pounds, UK VAT, British English.
It covers the day-to-day repair loop: tag the device, quote it, fix it, take the money, invoice it. Some RepairDesk extras are not here yet, and the last group on this page lists them. If one is make-or-break, email us and we will tell you plainly.
No. Mendmate runs in a browser on a laptop, tablet or till PC. Receipt and label printers (Star and Epson CloudPRNT, Dymo, QZ Tray) are set up with you. Card payments go through Stripe.
£39, £89 or £199 a month, per shop, however many people use it. Pay annually and it is £33, £74 or £166 a month. Every plan starts with 14 days free and no card. Full pricing.
Stripe's standard rate and nothing more. Mendmate adds no markup and takes no cut of your card payments.
No setup fee and no fixed term. Plans roll monthly, or yearly if you choose annual. Cancel with one email; it ends at the end of the period you have paid for.
Your dashboard counts down the trial. If you don't pick a plan, you get 7 more days, then your account pauses: everything stays readable and exportable. Nothing is deleted.
Parts come in by CSV through the setup wizard. RepairDesk exports we import for you: email us and we do the migration with you. Customers and open tickets from other systems are a manual job today.
You do. Showday Tickets Ltd processes it on your instructions under the data processing agreement. Export everything, as CSV and JSON, in one click, free, even after you cancel.
Nothing bad. Export is one click, free, and it works even after your subscription has lapsed. We keep the account until you ask us to delete it.
On a dedicated server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, application and database together. Card details never touch it: Stripe handles them. The security page has the detail.
Not yet. The shop needs reliable wifi. A read-only offline mode is on the list.
Not yet. The dashboard runs in a browser on a laptop, tablet or till PC. A phone layout and a native app are on the list.
Not switched on yet. The approval link and the card deposit are built on the server; the button that sends them from the ticket page is next.
Not yet. Status updates by text are built but switched off until the SMS provider is live. The customer portal shows status without a call.
Not yet. Direct Debit through GoCardless for maintenance contracts is built but not switched on.
Not yet. The lookup is built and switches on once the Companies House key is in place. Until then, type them in.
On the server, yes: a purchase order moves from draft to sent to received and books stock in. The screens for suppliers and orders are next.
Not yet. It is on the list because almost nobody does it. Until it ships, the trade-in record carries what you paid and what it resold for, so your accountant has the figures.
Not yet. Today you export a clean CSV of invoices, sales and expenses for your accountant. Xero sync is on the list.
